1. The Forum area of the web site needs members who are interested in initiating and monitoring “thread” discussions. If you have an interest, please contact the Content Manager at [email protected]


2. If you have an article that you want added to the Weblog that you have either written or have read, please contact the Content Manager at [email protected].


3. We are considering what additional services will help our members to better participate in government. Several things have come to mind, such as:
   
   1. The ability for X-voter to send a letter on your behalf to the elected representative of your choice – this service would carry an additional charge of $1.95 per letter.
   2. A Congressional directory, so you can contact senators and congressmen directly.
   3. A calendar of legislation pending before Congress.
   4. A dedicated area on the web site where government officials could comment directly for your response.
   5. A Resource page, where links to interesting web sites, names of books, magazines or articles of interest can be posted.
   
   So give these services some thought, and comment on them. Or, suggest your own in response to the appropriate thread in the Forum.


4. The results of the first Referendum are scheduled to be mailed in late July. For validation, we want to make sure we have as many members as possible by then. So get your friends to join up as soon as possible.


5. Be sure to vote on which issues you would like to consider in the next referendum, or suggest your own. After the Presidential election we would like to expand the discussion to consider not only general issues, but more specific items of proposed legislation.
